Don’t listen to the clueless “beauty gurus
Exfoliating and/or moisturising your skin would not make the tiniest difference to your cellulite.
Exfoliation / hydration work on your epidermis, i.e. the top 0.1mm of your skin
Cellulite is located in the hypodermis, i.e. the deepest 2-8mm of your skin and 20-80 times deeper than the width of your epidermis
There is absolutely no connection.
Hydration is important for the epidermis but does nothing for cellulite
Sure, hydrating your skin is essential for the health and appearance of your epidermis. Just don’t waste money on expensive moisturisers which claim to work on your cellulite just by hydrating your skin. The two are totally irrelevant.
And sure, you can apply real cellulite cream, i.e. one with multiple, high-purity anti-cellulite actives in high concentrations to help with cellulite reduction. But a plain moisturiser with no active ingredients will do nothing for cellulite.
Extreme exfoliation is detrimental for skin and also does nothing for cellulite
And, yes, occasional exfoliation can help keep skin healthy and beautiful. But these days, due to the misleading advice of these same beauty gurus, people think that the more they exfoliate, the better it is for their skin, leading to epidermal damage and the consequent huge increase in women who report having sensitive skin that can’t tolerate almost anything.
It doesn't matter if it is dry brushing (😂), coffee bean scrubbing (😂😂), microdermabrasion, laser ablation or any other exfoliation technique. Applied occasionally, it may be helpful for the epidermis but it is totally irrelevant to cellulite. Applied all the time it is definitely detrimental to skin health.
Don't fall for the misinformation and don't make your skin ultra-sensitive to everything with constant exfoliation.
To reduce cellulite, you must work on the hypodermis…
…and the best combination of technologies to SAFELY and effectively work on the hypodermis are deep-acting, high-power radiofrequency and deep-acting, high-power ultrasound cavitation - ideally followed by high-power LED phototherapy, for result maximisation.
Of course, healthy nutrition, exercise and an overall wholesome lifestyle are essential for cellular reduction and prevention.
