Does cavitation work for weight loss?

Absolutely not.

It is impossible to lose weight with ANY treatment of ANY kind, including fat cavitation, radiofrequency, lasers or anything else.

(You can lose a limited amount of weight with a major liposuction procedure, up to an absolute maximum of 5kg, usually 1-2kg)

Why is that?

Because weight loss occurs when fatty acids are oxidised (“burned”) for energy in organs and muscles. The end result of this oxidation is carbon dioxide and water, which you breathe out and urinate/sweat, respectively.

This is a biochemical process which absolutely no treatment stimulates, so the only way to lose fat is to exercise, diet or have liposuction.

Treatments stimulate fat release, not fat burning

All that ultrasonic cavitation treatments, radiofrequency treatments and some cellulite cream actives do is help you release fat from stubborn areas (particularly superficial fat such as cellulite), so that you can improve the appearance of specific body areas.

No treatment or cream makes you burn fat (although it would be really nice if they did). With treatments (and creams) it’s all about topical fat reduction, not overall fat reduction / weight loss.

Fat cavitation works for localised slimming and cellulite
